1. Kinda connects people

Kinda is a technology platform that helps independent adults discover and communicate with one another. Kinda does not provide, organise, supervise or control acts of kindness, gifts, lifts, tasks or meetings. Any arrangement is made directly between the users involved.

2. Use your own judgement

You decide whether to communicate with, meet, help or receive help from another user. Check whether the person, task, item, vehicle and location appear safe and appropriate. Confirm any qualification, licence, permission or insurance that the situation requires. You may cancel or leave at any time.

3. Verification is not a guarantee

Identity checks, badges, reviews, ratings, trust scores and contribution counts are limited signals. They are not criminal-record or safeguarding checks, professional references, recommendations or guarantees of honesty, safety, competence, insurance or suitability. Never rely on one trust signal alone.

4. Meeting safely

Consider meeting in public, telling a trusted person where you are going, arranging your own transport, keeping your phone available and limiting the personal information you share. End the interaction if something feels wrong. Kinda does not monitor meetings or messages in real time.

5. No professional or emergency advice

Content and messages on Kinda are provided by users and are not medical, legal, financial, investment or other regulated professional advice. Kinda is not a healthcare, care, safeguarding, transport or emergency provider. Seek an appropriately qualified professional or emergency service when needed.

6. Lifts, gifts, food and tasks

• Lifts: drivers and passengers must make their own checks. Drivers are responsible for licensing, roadworthiness, legal compliance and appropriate insurance.
• Items: Kinda does not own, store, inspect or test gifted or borrowed property. Check condition, legality and suitability before use.
• Food: check ingredients, allergens, storage and use-by information. Kinda does not prepare or test food.
• Tasks: do not undertake work beyond your ability or without any required qualification, licence, equipment or insurance.

7. No insurance or payment protection

Kinda does not insure users, vehicles, homes, activities or property and does not provide payment protection. Help and gifts on Kinda must be freely given. Payment, tips, fuel money, deposits and required exchanges are prohibited.

8. User content and third parties

Kinda does not guarantee that profiles, listings, messages, reviews, links or other user content are accurate, complete, lawful or current. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices; a link or integration does not mean Kinda endorses them.

9. Legal rights

This notice explains important risks; it does not remove rights or responsibilities imposed by law. Kinda remains responsible where loss is directly caused by our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
